“Old Persons Home”, 2007: 13 Skulpturen und 13 Elektrorollstühle. “A
roomful of 13 grey old men (in the form of hyperrealistic
silicone sculptures) decked out in their Sunday best (everything from
military regalia to religious attire) and reposing, in states ranging
from apparent attentiveness to catatonic stupor, in motorised
wheelchairs that randomly and alarmingly jerk and spin around the room.
